As a coach I recognize the critical role of understanding our brains and how it works. Our brains are always changing and when we know our brains we know ourselves. Brain changes takes place due to our thinking, behaviours and even our diets,
As a health care practitioner I have worked with challenges where people’s health and well being are not what they would want it to be. Interestingly I have had my own insecurities and at times hesitated to make changes where I needed to. This often resulted in me feeling left out of the group and not able to make the choices I desired. In one instance despite being bullied and I held on to a work role and this affected my thoughts and emotions which resulted with me questioning the choices and decisions I made. For a while I lost my confidence. I questioned my self worth and my ability I was belittled and felt so insignificant. I tried to fight back but gave up when it became too over whelming. I left the job and rediscovered my true self.
Deep inside I knew that I could overcome this situation. I had worked in the health and well being sector with great success. I had great reviews from my clients that I worked with and was able to support them to successfully achieve their goals. And so I decided to take my own advice. To truly understand more about me I improved on my training and studied neuroscience and I am now a qualified Neuro Coach and Leader.
I now work with clients to help them understand how their brain works and how they can influence changes in their lives.
As a Brain Based Fitness Coach I understand how my brain work I understand what kept me stuck. I understand how the brain changes and how these changes can prompt us to act or not to act, how these changes affect our motivation and even the image we have of our selves. And now, I work with my clients so that they to understand their brains and this allows them to successfully manage their stresses, fears, anxieties and other challenges which they may face in their lives. This helps them to move on and achieve and accomplish the things which are important to them.
Together, we identify and work towards the mindset needed to achieve their goals and to create the life balance of their choice.
Today changes are taking place at phenomenal speed. Uncertainty has replaced the certainty which we once held in our everyday lives. However we all have the capacity to innovate and master these changing circumstances. We have all to show up as our authentic self and I use creative strategies to help my clients address their changing circumstances . This means they are able to make more balanced decisions, they have multiple perspectives on possible outcomes of any action they take, and they are likely to take into account how their actions affect other people.
My clients are also able to acknowledge that different tasks require different mental processes and different people prefer different ways of thinking and working.
I have worked with clients individually and in organizations . I am able to take into account the challenges employees face and I appreciate day-to-day factors while addressing the bigger picture. I faced these too and overcame them.
